Fall Weekend Fun
Last Saturday, we headed up to the mountains to check out the fall colors. We took some friends, a couple who is fairly newly married, and we had a great time! It was cool and overcast, but we still saw some beautiful sights. We found a great trail that I would love to go back and hike again.
Because it was overcast, it was hard to get pictures of the beautiful colors. We had such a wonderful time enjoying God's beautiful creation!
Jason took some artsy pictures while we were out--this one is a close up of a tree
A nice flower picture he took
One of my favorite things in life--the sound of rushing water in the mountains

The guys thought it was really macho and manly to pick up big walking sticks. Jason won the contest for the biggest walking stick with this one. It was pretty funny!

So so pretty! I go to see Rob in VA at the end of this month and hope I make it before the leaves drop off!

Leah, it looks like you had a wonderful time. All of the glorious and beautiful nature....how gorgeous! We definitely don't have anything like that here in DFW. Definite plus to Denver! Now if I can just move my Mavericks team with me, I would have no problem moving there....:)

Wow, even if it was overcast, those are beautiful shots of the colors. I love the fall colors (not so much happening here yet) and that waterfall shot! Glad you found a new couple to hang out with!

Oh, that is so beautiful! I love to read books that have descriptions of Colorado. We were in Taos, NM in October several years ago and the leaves were turning and the sky was SO BLUE against the yellow and red leaves!
