Life with Pugs

A sure sign fall is here......

Every year, at the beginning of September, Jason starts looking for eggnog in the store. So imagine his excitement when he found this on our trip to the store on Friday night! (yes, we are that exciting that we do our grocery shopping on Friday night)

I don't really like egg nog, but he thinks it is wonderful. He already polished off this carton and is ready for more!

Some pictures of pugs relaxing in the sun this weekend!

And some pictures from this evening

And last (but certainly not least!), I received my Pay It Forward gift from AM today! I was so excited to get it, and I love it! I don't want to give it away, in case others have not received theirs. I have not been able to use it yet but I cannot wait. Thanks so much!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

  • I can't wait to see what AM made for you. The pugs pics are too cute. I want to kiss their faces! I L-O-V-E eggnog. I looked the other day in the store, but it's not out here yet. I make a eggnog pound cake and it goes over pretty well!

  • OMGosh! Tony is OBSESSED with eggnog! We're going to have to go look for some now too.

I love how it has Halloween packaging so it doesn't look too early for Christmas.

  • I haven't had eggnog in years....might have to retry it again - don't know if hubby likes it or not. I can't wait to see what your Pay It Forward gift is!!! Do you know what you are going to be sending out yet? Not that I want you to give it away!! I love fall....so many fun crafts come out.

  • Woman loves egg nog too, but it is FATTENING, and she does not want to spend an extra 30 minutes on the elliptical just for a glass of it! Silly humans!

  • Everyone's gotten theirs now, so it is safe!

I cant believe yall have egg nogg already! Halloween themed! Too cute. We dont get egg nog around here until late November. At least, I dont think...I'll have to look. BUT, I have a rule that my first glass of egg nogg for the season must be while I am decorating the Christmas tree.

  • Oh, I can't wait to see it either. I still need to send mine out. I'm so bad, bad, bad! I hate eggnog, isn't it a Christmas drink????? Ugh.

  • Halloween eggnog! Trick or treat? Trick for me, because like you, I don't like it! I know, though, it was a treat for him! : )

  • Eggnog before December just doesn't seem right somehow. Ah well, whatever makes him happy.:)
P.S. Those pug pics are great!

  • I love eggnog, too! And I didn't realize what "real" eggnog was (with rum) until Christmas 2005.

Now, every Christmas morning, my family and I have "real" eggnog (because we are all finally old enough!) and open our presents.

    Yumm!

(PS - I tried making homemmate eggnog once, and unless you have the patience to try it several times, I do not recommend it - get it storebought!!!)

  • I'm with you about eggnog...never liked the stuff....something about it being called "EGG-nog" and drinking it. It makes me think of drinking raw eggs, which grosses me out. However, Rob LOVES eggnog! So, when he comes back during christmas, I'll have to load up the fridge! Oh, also loved the pics of the pugs! I was thinking about you the other day when I saw the weather in Colorado was in the 60s! I'm so jealous!
