My Thursday Night Fun.........

Guess what I did on Thursday evening? I put out my fall decor! I don't have lots of fall things, but I was very excited to get them out. I love fall decorations!




And I also made cookies! I found a recipe for Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Softies on Divine Domesticity's blog, which I found through Alfred's Mom's blog. They are really, really yummy. I love to bake, and what I usually do after baking is take all of the cookies to work so they don't sit at home and tempt me. Because I probably could eat all of the cookies in one day....and I wouldn't put it past myself. But they have to be somewhat good for you, because there were 3 cups of oats in the recipe! We won't talk about all the butter........

So my Thursday was very productive. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! A cool front is moving into Colorado, so the high in Sunday is supposed to be in the 70s. Yay cooler weather!

  • Fall is my favorite. It still doesn't feel much like fall in Texas though! I better the weather is much nicer in Denver.

  • I pulled out my fall Decor too! I love decorating for fall as well...although I hate to see Summer go and am ready for fall...Just not OLD MAN WINTER!
    Those cookies look good. I have made quite a few things from Parker's sight...she has a lot of great ideas!

  • That's awesome that you played the French Horn! I started out playing the flute, but after I figured out how to play it, our band director had me switch to the french horn. Before that, we didn't have a French Horn in the band.

    I LOVE the LASIK! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Before I had it done I was 20/400. After, I was 20/15 - better than 'perfect.' It is so weird not having to take my contacts out at night or put them on before I can do anything in the morning. Most places will do it interest free. Mine will only cost $150 a month for two years. I would recommend it to anyone! It's completely worth it!

  • I put out all my fall decorations this past saturday and was about to blog about it! LOL! At least the weather up there feels more like fall than down here! Although, I do officially have a cold, and that always reminds me of fall.... ;)
