Evacuees in Denver

We heard on the local news this morning that 1,000 evacuees will be arriving in Denver this afternoon/evening and will be housed in dorms on the Lowry air force base, which is where we live. We drove by and saw a number of emergency vehicles around the buildings, as well as several buses from the local Emergency Management Team. The Salvation Army is organizing the efforts here, so I have called and given them my name and number and when I can volunteer. Hopefully they will call soon, but as the lady I spoke with said, there will be a need for help for a long time to come. Please continue your prayers.
