American Idol, anyone?
I have noticed, as I am surfing my regular blogs, that some of you out there are watching American Idol. We are too! Our neighbors love it as well, so this last Tuesday night we had an "American Idol Dinner Night" and plan to do so every Tuesday if we are all free. I never planned to start watching American Idol, but it has become somewhat of a family tradition in my family, so now I can't miss it. And it is just plain addicting! I don't so much like these first episodes (the judges can be so mean!), but once the competition really gets started, it is great fun. Who out there is watching it?

My husband and I never miss it! I'm with you...the shows at the beginning are just ok by I really like to watch them compete and see all the undiscovered talent out there!
Have a great day!

I am the opposite of you! I could care less about the competition, I love watching the first episodes when there are so many people who are aweful singers - I think it's funny. :)

Did you catch the girl who did the Cowardly Lion impression and sang from the Wizard of Oz on the first episode? I saw that and laughed so hard I had tears running down my face for 10 minutes. Priceless!!

Oh yes, we saw the Wizard of Oz girl--too funny! But I thought she sounded more like a Wookie from Star Wars!

It's sad to laugh at other people but we can't help it watching the first episodes. My husband and I can't believe some of these people think they can sing. I watch the first few episodes then take a break until they come out with the 12 finialist.

I try and watch when I can. My husband and daughter love the first episodes best but I prefer the heated competion near the end. I found the last season to be a littly boring in the middle, maybe it was just me because I missed a few and got off track.

oh so watching, no doubts about that :) its a great show when they focus on the most messed up/crazy/interestingly dressed character, lol :) we're all out there laughing right along with it :)

My parents love the whole thing, but especially the funny first singers who stink. I must apologize that my beloved Seattle did not represent very well, I was horribly embarrassed.
